SMART RFID SYSTEM
General:
Smart RFID or „Smart Radio Frequency Identification System“ represents the best and the most comfortable way for customers how to trace underground utilities such as:
- Communication cables
- Energetic cables
- Water pipelines
- Sewage pipelines
- Gas pipelines
Smart RFID consists of 3 basic parts:
- ID Markers Smart Marker SM1500, Smart Hemisphere
- Smart markerlocator SML xxx
- Software
ID Markers: Smart marker SM 1500 and Smart Hemisphere
Smart Marker SM 1500 is an electric equipment by which we mark a underground utilities. We put the marker just above the device and then it could be covered by the soil. Each of the Smart marker SM 1500 has its own unique identification number ID. We differentiate markers SM 1500 according to type of underground utilities also by operation frequency.
Smart Hemisphere is new type of smart marker with ID number and ball design. It is designed with smaller dimensions for easier installation than Smart Marker SM1500. It is usable for marking of all types of underground utilities. It has ball-shaped electromagnetic field characteristic, max. localization distance up to 155cm and max. ID reading distance up to 120cm. Max. angle for 100cm localization is +/- 70 degrees nad max. angle for 100cm ID reading distance is +/- 50 degrees.
Smart markerlocator SML xxx
Smart Marker Locator is a portable device designed for localization and identification of both analog and smart markers. Smart Marker Locator is able to find a marker and define the place and depth of marker imposition. What is more, Smart Marker Locator offers the customer to save record number (serial number) of each type of marker and ID of Smart marker. There is also a version of Smart Marker Locator with an inbuilt GPS module that improves properties of RFID system. Smart Maker Locator with GPS module enables to assign to each marker (selected point) GPS coordinates and back navigation.

- Selection of required marker by giving or searching its record number
- Precise navigation to the stored marker by GPS satellites
- Identification of Smart Marker 1500 according to its ID
- Defining the depth of marker imposition. Depth value is then displayed.
- Displaying current geographical coordinates of device and of the stored marker imposition.

Software:
Smart Marker Locator SML xxx set-up includes also software “LOCATOR” and serial cable for communication between SML xxx and PC. Software “LOCATOR” is designed for creating a database of underground utilities and futher treatment of marker database downloaded from Smart Marker Locator.
